One last cheer from the crowd as a thrilled Chief Starter Rick Stewart struggles to climb from the cockpit with a little help from his friends.

Steve Gibbs from the NHRA Motorsports Museum knows how to put on a great show, one that helped to make up for disappointment of the missing nostalgia cars of last July's Pomona 50th anniversary festivities.

This is a much better way to handle downtime, better than watching a monkey being dragged down the strip by a motorcycle or yet another wheelstander doing his stuff.
