Dallas based professional photographer Randy Anderson
is one of the premier photographers in drag racing. His work in black
and white photography is in our opinion some of the very best in the
business. With that in mind we asked Randy to just cruise the pits
at the Motorplex with the idea of telling the story of the race in
black and white. We are going to put up a selection of his work on
Saturday and Sunday which we believe will truly give you drag racing
from a different perspective, Randy's own slightly twisted one.
KENNY BERNSTEIN
"King" Kenny is on track to win his second NHRA Top
Fuel championship. He qualified in the number one spot on Friday night
just edging out John Force for top speed of the day and winning a
special Dr Pepper payout for top speed of the night.Bernstein was
the last car to make a lap. Kenny's son Brandon helps his dad when
he isn't driving the Jerry Darien Budweiser backed A fuel dragster
which leads the division 7 points and is fourth in national championship
points going into the race at the 'Plex.
