Ok
the last time we showed you a little of everything.
So this time to wrap your online visit up we
thought that we'd show a few more photos but
perhaps even more interesting some of the historical
info that the historians at the musem put up
beside the cars. So for your enjoyment and edification
more from the Walter P Chrysler Museum salute
to the Hemi.
Oh and just a sad P.S. Although the Musuem
is permanent the Hemi display isn't and if you
were planning a visit there just for the Hemi
exhibition it is too late.
The Holy Grail of Hemi-powered
door cars
The museum had this prototype
SSAA 'Cuda on display in the garage are of the
museum. Just imagine you could have bought this
off of a showroom floor in back in the good
old days.
One rare Ram
This was the pace car for the 1954 Indy 500!
You talk about cool. A convertible, with wire
rims, and a hemi under the hood and the cost
for these options $201!
