More than 13
years after the March 16, 1988, murders
of Thompson and his second wife, Trudy,
an arrest was made. Michael Goodwin,
a former business partner (and the prime
suspect of Thompsonıs family), is charged
with double homicide and conspiracy
to commit murder, plus three special
circumstances: murder for hire; lying
in wait; murder for financial gain.
As HRN5 goes to press, Goodwin is being
held without bail, awaiting an April
7, 2003, trial date. Updates are posted
