FUELforTHOUGHT

I have a '73 vega. The current engine going in will be 406 small block Chevy run on alcohol carb. AED with bypass system, run with 250 volumax pump, I want to add a fogger system to the engine for next season, injected nitrous and gasoline what would be the good starting point for jetting, it will have a remote fuel cell, which fuel pump, and regulator should I use? Current motor runs 9.60, can I safely put 250 shot in the motor? Any pointers or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Peter,

The separate fuel tank is a good thing. For the fuel pump, use another 250 gph pump and the Koehler Fuel Control. For all the other questions that are rolling around in your head including a starting tune up you should invest in a NitrousMaster software license. The link is below. The help files along with the computations which are enlightening will save you a lot of time and money. I realize that this turned into a blatant commercial but it really is the easiest, simplest way for you to get your deal together and you did ask. :-)

Have a safe race,
