Hi there,

I'm building a '95 stang with a Ford racing crate engine and I've been reading your articles about your muscrate but I came up with a big question! Its about your intake manifold: is it a Victor Jr.? I don't know which one I should choose that best suits a Ford ma crate 302 engine.

Can't wait to read your answer.

J-P,

The intake currently residing on Muscrate is actually a copy of the Victor Jr. made by Pro Products. My intention is to do a intake "shootout" in the future but for now this is the one I use. I can't say it's the best because I haven't tried any other's yet. For all out racing, it is hard to beat a single plane intake. If your car is more of a street-strip type setup I would lean more towards a hi-rise dual plane such as a Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap which is one of the intakes I will be testing.

Keep reading, I think you may be fan number 4.

Thank you for your questions,

Jay Roeder
