I have suffered through 2 roller lifter failures and the progressive damage from lifter debri. I run a .778 lift cam in a 588 chev with 260 lbs on the seat and i was wondering what was your optimum combination, [parts, oil, valve lash intervals] to prevent failure of the roller assembly

Dennis,

Use a pressure fuel lifter and use 20W50 racing oil if you use oil galley restrictors made larger by 50 percent.
