NEW CLASSES FOR FASTEST STREET
CAR SERIES
ProMedia Events announced a couple of new classes
for their fastest street car events for 2004:
Mean Street and Super Truck. The addition of
these new classes brings the class count to
eleven for 2004. Mean Street is very similar
to Cheap Street but with no power adders and
no claim rule. Super Truck is an index bracket
class for trucks only. [1-21-2004]
A
'LITTLE' PRO MOD NOTE
Donnie Little, former IHRA Pro Modified speed
record holder and current bad boy on the Midwest
Outlaw Pro Modified Series, dropped the Agent
a note and photo about his new car, a Terry
Murphy-built '68 Camaro that has a Tim McAmis
composite body and a Charlie Buck nitrous motor
under the hood. Little plans to run at a few
IHRA Pro Modified events this season. Little,
53, has been racing only in the Midwest for
the past three years, and 2004 marks his return
to IHRA competition. He set the Pro Modified
speed record in the early '90s with a mark of
212.86 mph, at Epping, NH and is one of the
original members of the Sonny's Automotive Racing
200-mph club. [1-21-2004]

Little also told the Agent that he has organized
a four-race series that will be contested at
Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL,
just east of downtown St. Louis, MO.
"The Country Motors Trailer Sales Outlaw Pro
Mod Series is exactly what it says -- outlaw
racing," Little said. "Rules are few. Bring
your nitrous or blower car (no nitro) and race.
This is a four-race series with a points championship
and fund. The only rule is that competitors
must enter and attend all four races of the
Country Motors Trailer Sales Outlaw Pro Mod
Series to be eligible for the points championship
and money. We are proud to host the series at
a national event track." For more info contact
