PRO MODS IN PRIME TIME SLOT
The
NHRA AMS Staff Leasing Pro Mod Challenge series
will be covered in stand alone half-hour episodes
of "Inside Drag Racing," according to Kenny
Nowling of Nowling Motorsports Management, who
negotiated the television package on behalf
of AMS Staff Leasing. The show will run Sundays
on ESPN2 at 11:00 a.m. (EST), preceding "NHRA
2Day." Airdates of five of the first six Pro
Mod events will be: April 11 (Gainesville, FL);
May 9 (Houston, TX); May 23 (Bristol, TN); July
4 (Englishtown, NJ); July 11 (Madison, IL).
Air-dates of the other Pro Mod events will be
announced later. Masters Entertainment will
again produce the coverage.
"Last year's NHRA AMS Pro Mod finale from Las
Vegas was one of the most exciting and compelling
television shows that Masters Entertainment

MR. GASKET SPONSORS PRO-AM
TOUR
Mr. Gasket has signed on a sponsor of the IHRA
Pro-Am Tour through the 2006 season. The Mr.
Gasket Pro-Am Tour is comprised of 32 events
with drivers competing in one of six divisions.
The seven Sportsman classes will incorporate
the names of Mr. Gasket's line of products:
Erson Cams Top Sportsman, Mallory Top Dragster,
ACCEL DFI Super Stock, Hays Stock, ACCEL Quick
Rod, Lakewood Super Rod, and Hurst Hot Rod.

IT'S PARTYTIME, MON!
From Gerome Bhola in Trinidad comes this photo
of the "Partytime Rail." It was built by Cameron
Racecars and has a 704 c.i. all-aluminum Hans
Feustel engine with nitrous. The team is replacing
the Lenco 3-speed with a 2-speed to run on the
tracks in Trinidad, Aruba, Curacao and Puerto
Rico.
Ah yes, it's about time for the Agent's next
Caribbean cruise. Honest -- it's a business
