DRAG RACING ON THE TUBE
In the fourth year of a five-year agreement,
ESPN will televise more than 100 hours of the
NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series. Most of the
coverage will be on ESPN2, with four

of
the 23 races receiving some coverage on ESPN.
In addition, 41 half-hour episodes of "NHRA
2Day" on ESPN2 will air each Sunday beginning
Feb. 15.
SPEED Channel will be the home for coverage
of the 12 IHRA national events. They will be
taped in two-hour blocks with Top Fuel and Pro
Modified headlining the first one-hour broadcast,
and Funny Car and Pro Stock the second. Race
coverage will also feature results from national
event Mr. Gasket Pro-Am Tour racing and the
Summit SuperSeries World Championship. Each
broadcast will replay at least once, offering
a minimum of 48 hours of airtime. [2-6-2004]

'KRAZY ED' MOVES TO TOP SPORTSMAN
"Krazy Ed" Foley is moving into the Top Sportsman
class with his new '02 Cougar built by Rick
Jones. The car is sponsored by Media Camping
Center in Hatfield, PA and will compete mostly
