HEPC PROGRAM WINNERS NAMED
The winners have been announced for the inaugural Huntsville
Engine & Performance Center Track Champions program.
The program rewarded the Pro/Electronics track champions
at each of the three tracks which participated in 2004.
The winners received a prize package worth $3500 in products
and services at HEPC.
Winners were: Kevin Pruett at Montgomery (AL) Motorsports
Park; Billy Deaton at Memphis Motorsports Park, and Wyatt
Ezell at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose, LA.
"It's great to be able to reward such great racers
and class individual as Kevin, Bill and Wyatt," said
HEPC's Luke Bogacki. "It's good for our manufacturers
who get involved at the grass roots level, it's good for
the race tracks to offer something extra to their weekly
competitors, and it add some extra incentive for the competitors
as they battle season-long."
HEPC plans to expand the program to more tracks in 2005.
Additional support for the Huntsville Engine & Performance
Center Track Champions program comes from Bill Taylor Engineering,
K&R Performance Engineering, MSD Ignition, JE Pistons,

MARK
YOUR CALENDARS
John Keigley sent a note saying he is planning to hold "Fuel
Altered Friday" at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, CA
on April 8. The ever-popular Winged Express (right) will
make a couple of laps and look for racers such as Ron Fassil,
Neese, Bennett and Daebelliehn. Hey, who doesn't like Fuel
Altereds? (Tim Marshall photo)

LITTLE GETTING TRICKY?
Agent 1320 hears that Midwest outlaw Pro Mod hitter Donnie
Little has decided that he isn't going to get run over by
the blower cars next season at the Midwest Outlaw races.
Seems like Little and his new partner, chassis builder Terry
Murphy, are not only going to have a two-car team next year
with Murphy building a new '63 split-window 'Vette, but
the Agent hears that Little is on his way to Bradenton,
Florida where he will pick up a Rickie Smith/Charlie Buck
737 incher that will run a low four-something in the eighth
for his Camaro. Word the Agent gets is that Rickie is going
to make a lap and, if the car runs the number, then Little
and Murphy are going to yank the motor out on the spot and
head back home. [1-13-2005]

PRO MOD SERIES RETURNS TO GIR
The Agent hears that the team of Donnie Little and Dave
Price, who were not only partners in a race car operation
but also in the CMTS Pro Mod series which ran at St. Louis'
Gateway track, won't be co-promoting the series again. Nonetheless,
sources at Gateway tell the Agent that there is a five-race
Pro Mod series planned at Gateway International this year
and that Little will be involved.
Agent 1320 hears that Jeffers Pro Cars will be the new
series sponsor. If the rumor is true that's good news for
the Outlaw Pro Mod racers that supported the CMTS series
in 2004. If the series returns for 2005, DRO will be covering
and be involved with the series. [1-13-2005]
