According to a report published on www.stockpatrol.com,
CMKX will not fight a Securities and Exchange Commission
investigation, and has asked an Administrative Law Judge
to immediately revoke SEC registration of all CMKM securities.
After defaulting on several agreements, the company now
concedes that it lacks money to operate. According to
the report, Urban Casavant, the last remaining member
of the Board of Directors will resign for health reasons.

NNRA TO ADD A FEW NEW SPORTSMAN
CLASSES
A source close to the NHRA’s Sportsman classes told
the Agent that NHRA will be adding a couple of Comp Eliminator
classes for next year. Cars now competing at NMCA and
NMRA events using belt-driven, under-hood superchargers
will compete at NHRA events in (we believe) the SS/AM
class. More info when we get it. [10-26-2005]
CANADIAN BORDER BLUES
The Agent is hearing that crossing into the U.S. from
Canada is getting increasingly difficult for all types
of racers. Evidently crossing into Canada isn’t
too difficult, but going the other way is another problem
all together. Blame 9/11, our sources say. [10-26-2005]
THE 'NORWALK RACEWAY PARK GOING
NHRA' RUMOR THAT WON’T DIE
The Agent had a call a while back saying that former
IHRA prez Bill Bader Sr. was purchasing NHRA’s Columbus
facility. (The funny thing about that is that previous
rumors claimed that the Pro Stock Truck Owners got that
track as part of their lawsuit settlement with NHRA).
Strangely, Agent 1320 has heard nothing from the usually
loquacious Mr. Bader on that subject.

Today,
a call from one of the Agent’s more reliable NHRA
sources brought the news that Bader and the NHRA have
had conversations this year about Norwalk Raceway Park
changing sanctioning body affiliation. This isn’t
the first time the Agent has heard this rumor and, frankly,
the Agent previously has ignored it, but new information
indicates the possible scenario is that the Bader family
will purchase the Columbus track and its date on the NHRA
schedule, and then -- just as certain NASCAR folks have
done -- will move the Columbus race date to Norwalk.
The Agent speculates that if the NHRA still has a debt
load associated with the purchase of the track from the
Rader family (the previous owners) or have mortgaged the
track in the past to raise cash, they may just let the
Bader family take the Columbus track and take the NHRA
off of the hook by assuming any payments or liabilities
associated with the track. We'll see how this plays out.
