HILLARY'S FIRST DRAGSTER
While doors on a dragster may be a little unusual, that
it just what you will see on Hillary Will's dragster this
season. Team owner Ken Black has spent all of his years
in motorsports around drag race cars with doors, commonly
called “doorslammers,” and believes in the
creed that “real race cars have doors.” Therefore,
his Top Fuel dragster will have doors painted on each
side of the car.

"Ken
Black and his son Ken Jr.'s only requirements were that
the dragster have flames, doors, and they wanted it to
be similar Greg Anderson and Jason Line's paint schemes
since we are a team,” explained Will.
The dragster features the flames, fashioned from the
paint scheme for Jason Line’s early 2005 design,
that have come to be associated with the Summit Racing
Equipment-backed Pro Stock Pontiac GTOs driven by three-time
NHRA POWERade Pro Stock champion Greg Anderson and 2004
NHRA Rookie of the Year Jason Line.
Will will make her Top Fuel professional debut at the
NHRA CARQUEST Auto Parts Winternationals at Pomona on
Feb. 9-12. (Design by Greg Ozubko)
