MILLICAN BLOWS OVER IN MICHIGAN

IHRA Top Fuel points leader Clay Millican had a Top Fuel "blowover" during the IHRA National Event at Milan, MI. Millican's car blew up and over, pivoting on the wing struts, but it was not a total write off. Millican was unhurt. According to the Millican camp, chassis builder Brad Hadman and crew chief Mike Kloeber are working on fixing the car and it may be able to be repaired at the team's Tennessee shop.

Regardless, DRO was told that the team will have a car at the next IHRA which is at Toronto Motorsports Park at the end of this month. (Julie Sword photos) [7-18-2005]
