Titan Motorsports will debut their new Toyota Scion TC at the 51st U.S. Nationals this week piloted by Brad Personnett. The machine sports a 183 cubic inch Toyota 2JZ GTE motor with a Precision Turbo utilizing a G-Force transmission in a Rick Jones Race Cars Chassis.
Under crew chief Eric Luzinski the Scion has already run a 6.446 at 218 mph in Florida testing, making it one of the quickest Pro Rear Wheel Drive cars in sport compact racing. AMA/PROSTAR CHANGES 2006 SCHEDULE
AMA/Prostar has revised its 2006 schedule released earlier this month. The motorcycle racing sanctioning body has eliminated Gateway International Raceway near St. Louis from the schedule and added Atco, New Jersey. In addition, they have rescheduled the event at Memphis. The eight-race schedule now is: March 4-5 (Valdosta, GA); April 1-2 (Atlanta, GA); May 6-7 (Richmond, VA); June 10-11 (Memphis, TN); July 14-16 (Norwalk, OH); Aug. 12-13 (Indianapolis, IN); Sept. 9-10 (Atco, NJ); and Nov. 3-5 (Gainesville, FL). According
to ORSCA, the Outlaw 10.5/LS/7.0/6.0 race that was rained
out Aug. 21 at Phenix City, AL, is rescheduled for Sept.
11 at Phenix City Motorsports Park. The accompanying bracket
race will be completed as qualified on the original date,
but apparently there will be an additional round of qualifying
on the rain date for all heads-up classes.
The Agent hopes to see the Cook Brothers
(driver Rick and tuner Matt) of Houston, TX, return with
their 632 Fulton-powered '69 Camaro to give the locals
