IT’S BURKART!!!
The Agent got a note from the Worsham’s PR agent
Bob Wilbur that cleared up a rumor we printed yesterday.
First the name is spelled BURKART, not Burkhart and secondly
“Phil Burkart will indeed be back in a Toyota starting
at Brainerd. Del Worsham has never had a Toyota on his car
(chassis) and has no plans to race anything other than his
current Monte Carlo." Thanks to Bob for clearing that
up. [8-9-2005]
ASHLEY REVISITED, PLUS FUEL ALTS
Photo guy Brian Lossness happened to be at the Ashley license
sessions and sent the agent a couple of photos of Mike Ashley’s
license passes at Salt Lake last weekend plus a few photos
of various nitro cars at that event. [8-9-2005]
It's
time for the Jeffers Pro Cars Outlaw Pro Mods to return
to Gateway International Dragway, St. Louis, MO. The eighth-mile
extravaganza of nitrous-snorting, blower-huffing, rod-slinging
Outlaw Pro Mod action returns this Saturday August 13th
to Gateway International Raceway. It’s run what ya
brung (almost) and all run (absolutely) so get that heap
out of the garage, tow it to St. Louis where you know you’ll
qualify and go one round!
The two rounds of qualifying and racing usually start about
5:00 PM. If you lose in the first round, then the local
horsetrack, a casino, one of St. Louis’ finest steak
houses, and several "gentlemen's clubs" are all
just 15 minutes from the track. Now that’s an entertainment
package the Agent can relate to. BEEEE THEEERE!!! [8-9-2005]
