SNOW TAKES ONE FOR THE TEAM
The Agent meant a victory, that is. Sixty-something oil

he still has a little gas in the tank by adding a Jeg's
All-Star victory at Chicago to his resume. The Snowman
defeated Steve Federlin in a classic A/FD-TAD match-up
that saw the pair engage in a staging duel that went more
than 50 seconds. Snow had a .113 light to Federlin's better
.039 but Snow's A/FD ran a 5.369/257 to Federlin's 5.536/258
for the win.

DEBUNKING A FEW RUMORS FROM
CHICAGO
Agent
1320 had a couple of e-mails this morning concerning John
Force and Erica Enders at Chicago. The Agent also had
a couple of calls asking about a tire which exploded on
Force's car Friday, but the facts are there was no tire
failure. The right rear tire on Force's car didn't blow,
but it did go flat. According to a source in the Force
camp, the tire tore itself out of the bead lock. When
the tire went down, the car obviously made a big move,
dropped down on the header, made some sparks, and Force
said it turned him sideways.
The Agent also had a couple of calls questioning the
time it took Erica Enders to get to the starting line
for the final round, as if NHRA were giving her extra
time. The last Pro Stock in the semi-finals left the line
at 3:16 p.m. Enders and Jason Line went to the tree at
4:12 p.m., less than one hour later and after changing
an engine between the semi-finals and the finals. Case
closed! And by the way, a big tip of the Agent's brand
new DRO cap and kudos from DRO editor Jeff Burk to Ms.
Enders for being the first female Pro Stock driver in
drag racing history to make a final round. Well done!
