SEEING THE LIGHT?
Pat Herold’s slick Minnesota Cobalt drew huge crowd
response during Pro Stock night qualifying rounds at the
Joliet NHRA race with the simple addition of functioning
headlights. Is it asking too much to make mandatory this

DOES FEDEX KNOW ABOUT THIS?
The Agent just heard that Jeg's is now offering free 1-2
day delivery of parts for its mail order customers. The
Agent will bet a large amount of his roll that the rest
of the mail order folks like Summit Racing Equipment and
Doug Herbert will have to offer the same
service. Sounds like a great deal for the racers to the
Agent. [10-04-2005]

racers at the IHRA finals at Rockingham, NC this coming
weekend to show his appreciation of them, and he's brought
in award winning Texas cook and radio talk show host Ed
Rivas to wrangle the pots and pans. That's the good news.
The bad news is that you will need a wristband/invitation
to get in, and an invite for the DRO staff wasn't included
in the release. The feed starts on Saturday, Oct. 8, at
noon. A tip o' the Agent's toque to Knoll for doing a
nice thing for the racers. Now if the Agent can just slip
by the chef's armed guard and snag a rib. . . .
