THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT
Can reality television withstand John Force? The A&E
Network thinks it can as they have announced the new series,
Driving Force. The show will focus on Force and "his
attempt to re-connect with a family estranged by his all-consuming
30-year-long obsession with professional drag racing."
Principals in Driving Force answered
questions during the Television Critics Association annual
convention in Pasadena, Calif. From left, John Force,
wife Laurie, daughters Ashley, Brittany and Courtney,
along with Rob Sharenow of A&E, and Brent Travers
of Schmaguuli, LLC, producers of the series.
With the A&E Network reaching more than 88 million
households, NHRA president Tom Compton said, "The

expose NHRA drag racing to a much broader audience.
John Force is one of NHRA's greatest ambassadors and
I am confident that this program will serve to introduce
new fans to the sport which will in turn benefit the entire
NHRA community."

as well as the subsequent spike in NHRA national event

SCHUMACHER SILLY SEASON PRO
STOCK SAGA
The Agent just loves the Schumacher organization because
they are so entertaining year round. One of the Agent's
very reliable sources called this morning to say again
that Shaun Carlson was going to get a Pro Stock ride with
the Schumacher organization.
Carlson would only say that he has a contract to drive
for a front-wheel drive car and a drifting car next year.
Our source also said the rumor he is hearing that the
long speculated on third Pro Stock car for team Schumacher
might be the Kenny Koretsky car. It's known that Koretsky
is shopping around for a driver. Maybe Carlson, Koretsky
and Schumacher?
The Agent also hears that Bob Glidden is lobbying heavily
for son Billy to drive for Schumacher and may have some
issues with the hip hop image that Carlson has.
