IT'S OFFICIALLY JEG'S
The JEG'S brand is already widely known to NHRA drag racing
fans through their familiar yellow-and-black motif. Now,
thanks to Valspar and their House of Kolors brand, consumers
can paint their world JEG'S yellow as Valspar has approved
and made available the color "JEG'S yellow"
(Y1899).
This shade is available for Automotive and Fleet use
effective immediately.
"If there is one thing I have noticed since overseeing
our marketing efforts in the NHRA it's that the JEG'S
brand is a strong as it gets," said Randy Tinsley,
program manager for Valspar Motorsports. "We couldn't
be more excited to help broaden the reach of the JEG'S
colors throughout the automotive world and we wanted to
guarantee that everyone gets the official JEG'S yellow
every time. This yellow just pops out. It's very powerful."

TURNING
THE PAGE?
According to one of the Agent's Charlotte operatives,
Paul Page, a veteran of open wheel racing TV reporting
is "high on the list" to fill in for and eventually
replace Marty Reid on the NHRA POWERade telecast. Page
joined ABC/ESPN Sports in 1987 and was most recently the
lead host of the Indy Racing League series coverage on
ABC, on radio Paul was known as the voice of the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway. (Photo
