DRO photographer Mark Rebilas got this sequence last weekend at the boat races in Phoenix. Top Fuel Hydro driver Scotty Lumbert had the rudder on his boat fail in the eyes on a 5.15/216 pass. He escaped with just some stitches and a fractured vertebrae. [10-28-2003]

Shelley Anderson would drive the Camaro built by Australian Murray Anderson (no relation). Her husband, Alky Funny Car standout Jay Payne, will probably be in the second car which the Agent thinks is a '63 'Vette.

If these two join Scotty Cannon on the NHRA circuit next year things could become even more competitive on that little "exhibition" circuit.
