ANDERSON AND SUMMIT?
Was the Agent the only one that heard 2003
Champ Greg Anderson plug Summit Racing Equipment
after his win at Pomona. The Agent thinks that
Mark Pawuk is signed through 2004 as Summit's
Pro Stock representative, but maybe there is
room for two. It's all just a un-informed rumor
but still. . . (Ron Lewis

The
agent hears that tuner Lance Larson has signed
a three-year deal to work for the Peter Lehman
Top Fuel team. He won't be replacing crew chief
Mike Kloeber, but our source says he will run
the team's shop and probably consult.
At the same time we got a press release from
the Snake's team manager announcing that team
had ceased to pursue a sponsorship for a second
Top Fuel car for Melanie Troxel to drive and
that there absolutely wouldn't be a forth fuel
car in 2004. [11-15-2003]
GIRLS DUMPING THE GUYS?
Top Fuel pilot Scott Weiss has enjoyed the
sponsorship of the RACEGIRL apparel company
for a couple of years but a reliable source
tells the Agent that the company is leaving
that camp to go to an unnamed Funny Car team.
Rumor is that money was the problem.
The Agent wonders if the NitroFish sponsorship
might also end up on a Fuel car in 2004? [11-15-2003]
