BABY, COME BACK

John Force has apparently made a formal request to Gary Densham that he return to Force's Castrol Racing operation for the 2004 POWERade season. Densham has been working on his own deal for next year, but according to a radio interview over the weekend, John wants him back cause he missed his old buddy.

The Agent checked Force's website and found that references to Tony Pedregon and Dickie Venables are gone, but Densham's photos and bio remain.

Normally the Agent doesn't plug the competition, but he's going to make an exception in this case. The final AMS Staff Leasing-backed NHRA Pro Mod race from Las Vegas was one of the most remarkable in history. The Championship went down to the final round of the final race and the World Champ couldn't even qualify for the event. This was as dramatic a situation and race as you will ever witness.
