MILLICAN TO CHAT ON RPMWORLD.COM
Clay Millican, three-time IHRA Top Fuel Champion, will participate in an online chat session on the RPMworld website on Tuesday, January 6, at 2:00 p.m. CST. The chat session will allow fans the opportunity to ask Millican questions.
"I have done similar chats in the past, and they are always a lot of fun," said Millican. "I'm not nearly as fast typing as I am in a Top Fuel dragster, but I love chatting with the fans and getting their perspective on different drag racing topics."
RPMworld is an online virtual drag racing game
site. The chat session is exclusive to RPMworld
league members. The online game offers new players
25 free races, but joining the RPMworld racing
league requires a minimum purchase of $9.99
in game credits. Readers can access the site
and join the DRO Team at www.rpmworld.com.

SHOWERS TAKING A HIATUS
According to a story that appeared in CycleNews.com, rising Pro Stock Bike star Reggie Showers will be forced to set out the 2004 NHRA season. Showers, who completed a very rare double at 2003's NHRA U.S. Nationals winning both the K&N Pro Stock Bike Klash and the Pro Stock motorcycle class title, gave the fact that he couldn't get proper sponsorship for his team as the reason that he would not compete. Showers joins the a growing list of NHRA professional racers including the likes of Darrell Gwynn Racing, Cory McClenathan and Paul Romine who don't currently have plans to race a full schedule in 2004.
In the Agent's opinion Reggie Showers is a role model for both young African-Americans
and handicapped individuals and is an invaluable
resource for the sport. Someone should step
up and fund his program for the coming year.

crews and drivers and those ever-popular test
and tune events! This year Drag Racing Online

have
teamed up to put on a test session/race the
last weekend in February.
This event will be a test session first and
a race second. Rockingham's owner/operator Steve
Earwood will prep the track to the National
Event standards that yielded world record performances
at last year's IHRA World Finals.
The format for the event will be open testing
for Pro Modifieds, Pro Stock, and "Ten-Wide"
cars. These cars will be allowed to test free
of charge Thursday through Saturday with the
two quickest cars in each of the three categories
racing for a purse Saturday. That's right you
get free testing and a possible payday! The
rules are simple all Pro Mod, Pro Stock and
Ten-wide cars must pass IHRA safety tech and
meet the minimum weight for the class. That
means Pro Stock, blown and nitrous oxide Pro
Mods and "Ten-Wide" cars must be of
legal weight for their class, other than that
it is run-what-ya brung!!!!
The most important item for all concerned to
be aware of is this is an open to all comers
test and tune event with the added bonus of
a race for the two quickest cars in Pro Stock,
Pro Mod and Ten Wide.
The track will be available for testing on
Wednesday and Sunday but there will be a charge
for testing on those days. More information
about the event will be released in the coming
weeks concerning purse, performance bonuses,
and media coverage. For more information contact
