NHRA Nationals June 27-29. But fans can come
out and enjoy a sneak preview of the 200-mph
Pro Stock competition, and enjoy some of the
finest bracket racers and street cars in the
area, all for the same price -- just $8 for
adults with children 12-under free with a paid
adult.
Starting at 6 p.m., the Pro Stockers in attendance will each make one time run down the Gateway quarter-mile. The fastest two cars will meet for the title - but the other cars will be making additional runs as well.
"It's the old 'Chicago style' format we used to use many years ago. We don't know all the names coming yet, but there will be a lot of guys looking to get sharp for the races to come, and to get ready for Gateway," Haas said.
