DRINK
UP!
Fans will get to enjoy the new high-horsepower
flavor from POWERade, a special mix contained
in NHRA-themed packaging that they selected,
when the drink is officially introduced July
1.
The special packaging design features a red
background with the POWERade shield surrounded
by flames and NHRA logo over the image of
a Top Fuel Dragster. A fiery mix of orange
and red in color, the new flavor is a blend
of melon, pineapple and papaya.
"POWERade has been a great partner in helping
NHRA to expand the visibility of our brand
of motorsports entertainment, and nothing
exemplifies this more than the launch of this
new POWERade flavor and NHRA-themed packaging,"
said Gary Darcy, NHRA vice president of marketing.

from a Life Lived at Speed" in a subsequent
