PROMODIFIEDS.COM FOUNDER INJURED

ProModifieds.com founder Gary Stroud was seriously injured in a traffic accident Late on July 16, while driving through Alabama to the NMCA race at Pittsburgh. Also in the car were his girlfriend Stacey and her sister, April, who were both treated and released from hospital the day after the accident.

All donations, in the form of checks or money orders, should be made payable to: Atty. Joseph E. Buckley, Trustee, and mailed to: Joseph E. Buckley, 100 Main Street, Brookeville, PA 15825. HOLLYWOOD GOES TO INDY

The Agent hears that K.C. (Hollywood) Spurlock has put together a deal to drive a Top Fuel car at the upcoming 49th edition of the U.S. Nationals. According to the Agent's sources, the former fuel flopper driver will be between the tubes of the Carrier Boyz Top Fuel dragster. These guys could be a threat. If all of the teams that the Agent hears are going to race at Indy -- such as Scott Kalitta's and Spurlock's -- do indeed show up, we could have nearly 30 top fuelers at the event. [7-21-2003]
