Remember when they said the injected cars were too much for the blown alcohol-burners? Santos nails his fourth straight NHRA Federal-Mogul World Championship with a blown car in a tough division and in a fairly tough class. One year, pretty good. Four straight? Way, way good. By the way, feel free to apply this logic to the IHRA blown Pro Mods versus the nitrous Pro Mods. (CM)

A legitimate sold-out drag race with three days of old fashioned, heads-up, run what ya brung, no dial-in, no break-out drag racing by the quickest and fastest street cars in the world. A dose of what drag racing is supposed to be. By the last day, standing room only tickets were all that were left and the fans were still buying tickets! (JB)

Has to be the World Series of Drag Racing. Lots of hard-core racing action, friendly staff, scenic by the Mississippi locale, casinos within easy driving distance, and a road trip with da California Kid, Chris Martin. What a deal! (JL)
