Mallory Announces HyFire® VI-A

Cleveland, Ohio (December 2001) Combining next-generation technology with the latest digital circuitry, Mallory's HyFire® VI-A, P/N 6852M, provides digital performance at analog prices. This new high efficiency, multi-spark system delivers 500 volts primary and 45,000 volts secondary output voltage. ARP® INTRODUCES STAINLESS METRIC ACCESSORY STUDS

Automotive Racing Products, Inc. (ARP®) has solved the problem of pesky exhaust leaks and header installation hassles with the introduction of specially designed stainless steel metric accessory studs. They are manufactured from a proprietary alloy developed by ARP®, Stainless 300, and are impervious to the rust and corrosion that plagues other fasteners. The material is nominally rated at 170,000 psi, which is substantially stronger than even Grade 8 hardware.

Ease of installation -for both the stud and the exhaust manifold- is assured through a clever design that combines a unique nut-starter nose with a hex-broached tip that allows use of an Allen wrench to secure the stud in the head.

These studs can also be used to secure intake manifolds, throttle bodies, and other components. Their polished stainless steel finish will enhance the appearance of any engine compartment.

The new ARP® Metric Accessory Studs are initially offered in the popular 8mm size, with lengths ranging from 1.250" to 2.250" in .250" increments. Also included with each stud is a flat washer and easy-wrenching 12-point nut.
