Barry Grant’s all-new Six-Shooter, the triple two-barrel carburetor system that made its debut earlier this year, has been developed further to suit GM’s Vortec cylinder heads. Comprising three 250 cfm two-barrel carbs with compact float bowls and side-hung floats, the assembly also includes a new aluminum intake manifold with a novel, leak-free water neck design (US Patent # 6,792,906); billet aluminum/stainless steel fuel log; electric choke and a polished Rush Performance air cleaner. With power gains of 12 hp and 13 ft. lb. of torque not uncommon, the new dual-plane manifold achieves maximum torque while the considerable airflow of the three carburetors promote maximum horsepower.
