FLOWMASTER, INC. INTRODUCES
3-INCH DELTA FORCE EXHAUST TECHNOLOGY FOR FORD'S
5.0 MUSTANG GT
Flowmaster,
Inc. sets NEW performance standards by developing
3-inch Delta Force Exhaust Technology for Ford's
most popular muscle car, the 5.0 Mustang GT.
The term Delta Force denotes our race product
line and this system is no exception. Designed
to bring out the full power or (potential) of
a beefed-up Mustang, this application is from
the headers back and is for off-road/race use
only. The kit begins with 3-inch flanged downpipes
that are designed with factory located O2 sensor
bungs and are made to fit either factory or
aftermarket "shorty" headers. The welded Scavenger
pipe assembly feeds directly into dual Flowmaster
Super-40 muffler for the best performance and
sound. Dual, 3-inch aluminized tailpipes exit
in the stock, hide-away location, so no one
knows until you step on the gas. All hangers,
clamps and hardware are provided to complete
the installation.

BORGWARNER TURBO SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIP OF VINNY
TEN FOR 2004
BorgWarner Turbo Systems announces its associate sponsorship of Vinny Ten for the 2004 import drag racing season. The timing is terrific for Ten, who currently is testing two new turbo setups on his 1995 Toyota Supra twin-turbo system and a single-turbo setup because of new restrictions on turbocharged cars that have been instituted in the Outlaw Modified class for both the NOPI Drag Racing Association (NDRA) and National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Summit Sport Compact Drag Racing series.
Ý
The twin-turbo system will use either 66 or 68mm turbos, while the single-turbo setup will use a 78mm turbocharger from BW-AirWerks, the new aftermarket forced-air performance program from BorgWarner Turbo Systems. Other power-enhancing changes for Ç04 include a switch from gasoline to methanol and from an automatic to a 5-speed manual transmission.
ÝÝ
BorgWarner Turbo Systems manufactures turbochargers for factory installation on numerous high-performance vehicles, including the Audi RS4 Bi-Turbo and the Porsche 911 Turbo.
