in PSCA Pro Street history.
Robert "V" in
his flamed Mustang took the win in the Mickey
Thompson Tires Wild Street class running
8.810 at 157.48 over a slowing Shannon Cachare's
21.893.
In the competitive Edelbrock Hot Street
Class, George Mitchell's red Nova ran 8.955
at 151.97, winning in a close final over
Craig Gustafson's '56 Chevy who ran 8.987.
The JE Pistons Real Street final found Bert
Heck running 8.285 at 173.96 while defeating
No. 1 qualifier Rich Hoyle's clean Nova 8.345
at 162.20 mph.
On October 22-24 the PSCA Heads-up classes
meet again at California Dragway for the
4th annual Edelbrock Fall Nationals. The
6th annual Mickey Thompson Tires World Finals
and East-vs-West Shootout will close out
the season back in Las Vegas November 18-21.
