Super Gas veteran Frank Mason and, in recent seasons utilizing an early 'Vette, is always a fixture in the latter rounds of 9.90 eliminations. The National Finals were no exception, and, needless to say, Mason wrapped up yet another National title after his semi-final finish.

Although Craig Gibbs has only competed in a handful of events this season in the single barrel heads up Super Modified eliminator, the Obsession Motorsports team were very happy with finding consistent runs into the seven second zone at the seasons end.

The ACU Super Street Bike class has been something DRO has followed all season, and comparative newcomer Gary Drury and the Turboosa showed the strength in depth of the UK ultimate street bike class demolishing his PBs on the way to a semi-final finish against Series champ Steve Venables.
