Mark 'The Hooligan' Pointer was simply
spectacular in Outlaw Anglia, producing rolling fogbanks
and wheels up launches on his way to the low eights in the
immaculately prepared van - the sevens can't be too far
away.

Another whiteout specialist in Outlaw
Anglia is Paul Hensher and his Mopar-powered mid-eight second
Gas Attack Pop. The Anglia class includes numerous approaches
to going quick with a shockingly short wheelbase and the
entertainment factor ranks high.

Developing something of a feared reputation
in whichever eliminator he cares to enter is Spencer Tramm
and his gorgeous VW Corrado. At the Power Nationals, Spencer
ended up at 1 and 2 spots in VW Alternate Engine and Super
Gas qualifying respectively.

Second generation racer Scott Hauser
(son of chassis guru and ex-TF and doorslammer shoe Geoff)
was having a ball in Junior Dragster, cutting a string of
0.0 lights and looked to be heading for a final round match-up
with his brother Jay.
