The slightly more up to date Cutlass of Kev Perkins produced a string of mid-sevens to head the Super Modified (single 4bbl) class. The ex-Pro Mod Olds has had a major makeover this season and looks stunning in the sun.

Nick Curtis is another who likes to hang the front end high in his twisting Super Street '57 Chevy. Believe it or not, the launches had been slightly calmed down as Curtis wasn't using the transbrake as the Lawbreaker had started to hunt the tree and armco at previous meetings.

Yet another making a bid for the crown of king of the wild launches is Pete Englezos. With a VW flatfour in the back of his Fiat 500 and a driver that accounts for roughly a third of the vehicle weight exhaust scrapping launches are the inevitable result, although we hear a long wheelie bar has been added in the past week or so.
