Having documented the race to the sevens in Super Street Bike in the Easter Report, Mark Fisher took the final gold ring on offer with a 7.974 from his supercharged TTS Hayabusa. The composition of the WRE Seven Second club ably demonstrates the 'thinking outside of the box' that hallmarks European Bike racing - with three turbo'ed bikes from Kawasaki, Suzuki and Honda and Fisher's blower bike proving that variety is the spice of life.

One to watch for the future is Jake 'Kool Kid' Carruthers, another second generation racer, this time on two wheels. The preparation of the Honda junior dragbike would put many full scale entries to shame, and the 13 year old is a very serious racer too.
