Brad Mitchell’s Nova hangs ‘em high in the opening round of 5.30 competition. Mitchell, from Monticello, GA, qualified 6th, but made it only to the second round after a first-round bye.
One for the Mopar faithful. Mark Armstrong’s Dart, from Stockbridge, GA, was the only Chrysler product on the grounds at Albany. Armstrong bowed out in the opening round against John Kirksey.
