Justin Burcham put his car on top of the BF Goodrich Factory Stock qualifying list with an 11.808-secs pass at 113.50 mph, then raced his way to a final-round match against number-five qualifier Tim Duncan. The .024 holeshot went to Duncan, but Burcham overcame it to become one of only two race winners in the left lane.

And finally, Jackson, GA's Glen Ingram won the burnout contest with his 351 Windsor-equipped 1973 Pinto. Other winners at Silver Dollar Raceway included Gabe Large (5.0 Magazine Real Street), Richard Lelsz (Vortech Mod Motor), and Terry Reeves (Nitto Tires Truck & Lightning).
