The final race of the 2001 Import Drag Racing Circuit
season, the Nitto Tires IDRC International Finals Presented by Toyota,
was held at Los Angeles County Raceway in Palmdale, Calif on December
1-2.

| The Blast Racing '93 Lexus SC400 with Tatatoshi
Wakita at the controls set a new IDRC import world record with a
7.38 at 184 mph. The Toyo Tires Pro Class competitor's powerplant
is a tubocharged V9 with EFI (below). |

| Hiroshi Shiobara got the win in the final
round when Adam Saruwatari red-lighted. Hiro's '91 Nissan 300ZX
was the number one qualifier at 7.673. |
