WHO GETS THE BIG BUCKS?

I know a tech guy that gets $5.50 per hour when he is at the races. If you look at the sportsman cost to go to a NHRA race then what these men make looks bad.

Chris, just read your article.....I take it you're pissed about the raises that Compton and the rest of the NHRA Mafia received?

After spending three days at the Division 7 race at Vegas and getting two time trials (Stock eliminator) I am thinking about looking for some sort of mental help.....got any suggestions? I enjoy Stock, even with all the cheating....but this is getting ridiculous....

IT'S A WRAP

After watching the NHRA finals on ESPN2, I would like to add to your "Just Wondering" theme: Do Rhonda Hartman-Smith, Ron Capps and Gary Densham all have some terminal illness we don't know about? By the tone of Bill Stephens voice while questioning each of them on their future, you would think they were dying! Thank goodness they are merely out of a ride, poor Bill would probably cry...

Also, is Gary Densham really that p-o'd about leaving JF Racing? Perhaps the show would be more interesting if the announcers didn't embellish the story to make it more "dramatic." Does anybody remember Tony leaving JF Racing? Drop the "drama," give me more racing.

Finally, I swear to my maker that when Eddie Hill was on Wind Tunnel he said they might field a fuel team in '05. Yet, I have heard nothing on that front. Was I hearing things?
