. . .BUT NOT THE FIRST ONE

The deal with the Anglia was the worst, however, not the first. Maybe it was reported before, but on a previous show James cut the front end off a vintage Woody chassis to make a bleepin' "Hot Dog Vendor Wagon" dragster. My friend, Jim Frizzell, said he did cry at that one.

Just goes to show that money will almost always override good judgment and taste.

NO ROLE MODEL

Terrible way to teach our young ones on how to deal with failures. The kids look to Jesse as a hero and this is how he goes about dealing with issues. Wish the truth as stated on another site by the driver of "Blue Blazer" AA/FA would get out to the public as to how it really all went down.

I for one will do my part to write to the Network and state my displeasure with that type of programming.

WHAT A WASTE OF EQUIPMENT

I share Jeff Burk's feelings about the recent Monster Garage episode. I had to cover my eyes when the weight was dropped on that cherry Anglia! I threatened to put the stomp on Jesse James for doing that to a car with so much potential. How could anyone condone destroying 30,000 dollars worth of stuff when there are guys out here that can only dream about building something like that? Those Hollywood types have proven again what jackasses they are! Oh, and Jesse needs to tone down his "Tuff Guy" act.

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME

Your comments concerning the destruction of a perfectly good '49 Anglia are spot-on. I cannot understand what the television audience sees in these morons (Jesse James and Orange County choppers and the like--BTW you can include Boyd in the bunch). Craftsmanship? Their tools usually consist of torches, hammers, and right angle grinders. I would hate to be a body and paint man trying to make something from the trash they prepare. I guess if something does not go as planned you are supposed to trash it.

I put these programs in the same class as Figure Eight race tracks, Demolition Derbies, Burnout Contests and just about any other pointless exhibition that abuses equipment for no apparent reason.

Keep up the good work.

NOW YOU SEE IT, NOW YOU DON'T

Hello there. I was just reading the 1320 notes and I came across the post about the LaHaie tuning Doug Herbert rumor. You said a fan started that over on ESPN. Well, I was the one that posted that over there but I did not make that up. I read it on Torco Comp. Plus dirt/rumors column. Now, after I posted that and got reamed out from people close to Doug and Wayne I went back and looked and those sorry a**holes took it out of their column. That made me look like the Putz, but it was really them who started that rumor! I just wanted to make it clear what took place o.k.?

They should not say crap like that and then erase it like it never happened! I meant no disrespect to Wayne or Doug and only hope that Wayne fully recovers real soon. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Ronald F. Sherry
