NOW HERE'S AN IDEA
Maybe you haven't noticed that banner on your website, I
believe it says Jeg's. When you can order your parts online,
have it delivered to your garage and at a lower price than
the guy at the midway, 'nough said. And, Jeff, I haven't
seen diggers being worked on in the parking lot or room
at the motel in Wasco for years. Come to think of it this
here 'puter tells me I missspelled [sic] a couple a words
too. Not my editor. And that Brad Anderson with the setback
blower doesn't fit in my Olds. "Oh the times they are
a changing." Keep up the good work, and stop going
to national events.
Enjoy your work.

YEAH, BUT HE'S OURS
I just got around to Martin's blurb, and although I agree
with a small portion of what he says, I cannot understand
how he gets the idea IHRA is not in existence with 100 race
tracks as members. Are all 100 stupid and don't know they
are not sanctioned?
Martin is an opinionated idiot!

STRAIGHT SHOOTING
Great interview with Scotty. It reaffirms why I've always
been a Scotty Cannon fan, since way back in the On-Sat days.
He's the real deal... No prima donna bullshit.
I'm hopeful he'll find another ride soon, but until then
it's NHRA's loss. They need more guys like Scotty to show
up on race day.

AN IMPORT-ANT MESSAGE
Re: Rice vs. Yankee Doodle Dandy. One of the big three wanted
to run turbo's and current tech (DOHC V-8) in Pro Stock
and Mr. NHRA said no. Keep an eye on John Mihovitz' BB/AT
Cougar. There's big three money there.

WHAT'S BEING REWARDED?
It was great to see the Speed Channel recognize Greg Anderson's
fantastic year in Pro Stock. And the honors couldn't have
gone to a more deserving team! Their record will probably
never be broken. Way to go, guys!!
However, didn't the NHRA recently recognize Schumacher as
their Driver of the Year? Does this mean that the driver's
performance record isn't as important to the NHRA as corporate
sponsorship dollars. It's sad when the almighty dollar makes
puppets out of people who should be the bastions of our
sport. It shouldn't surprise me; I raced AHRA years ago
because the NHRA would rather take advantage of their participants
than reward them.

WHAT'S THE TEMPERATURE?
I noticed in the recent installment someone over there thinks
Pro RWD Turbo cars should be in Pro Stock. I'm referencing
the comment that Stephen Papadakis could blow the Paint
off Greg Anderson's car. So could a PM or AFC, so what's
your point? It'll be a Cold day in Hell before NHRA will
ever allow Turbo's in PS, I'll take a wager on that!
