C'MON BRUTON
Most racers of 1320 feet, do not like the roundy round boys
and their racing, but there is a lot to learn from NASCAR
about how to run a sanctioning body. Track improvements
on a regular basis, unbelievable purses, and none of it
at the fans expense. I say, "Give Bruton Smith a shot
at running the show!"

PLAIN AND SIMPLE
Your comment on not sugarcoating anything is one reason
I check Drag Racing Online periodically. Although I'm out
of the sport now, working an oval track, I know that with
you (and Todd Silvey, too), I can find a place to get the
truth, and somebody's opinion without embellishments.
Keep it up.

BLOGS? BLECCHH. . .
Good stuff. I thought I was the only one that hates driver
"blogs." I really don't care where Doug Herbert
went for dinner.

KEEPIN' THE PR FOLKS IN BUSINESS
Keep up the good work. In reference to the last blast, I
think the PR blog people have the drivers so polished and
sanitized they can't get boils on their ass. Seriously,
I truly enjoy your tell it like it is style and humor and
look forward to reading your opinions in 2006.

NOSTALGIC FOR FUNNY CARS
Well, Jeff, I can't wait on this one! It won't be a cheap
deal to get into, but the show should be outstanding! Left
hand steer, all the nitro y'all can squeeze in the tank,
most likely solid suspension on the rear, no holds barred
kick-ass nitro racin' again!
I'm sure you'll keep us posted on this one, eh?! Keep up
the "urging", Bubba! This will be kool.

THAT AIN'T FUNNY
The headline looked good, but after reading it I lost it
somewhere. The photo looked like a Willys which it is suppose
to look like. In my opinion that's not a Funny Car. I want
to see cars

from the late '60's through '77 running NITRO. There are
cars out there with more being built everyday.
One other thing, I understand the safety point of view
but 1/8 mile doesn't get it. Never has and never will from
me and I'm sure others feel that way too.
Look back at NHRA first attempt at a Reunion in Ohio. I
heard a lot of complaints about it being a 1/8 race.
I wish them luck (ADRL) but it's not a race for me.
