Quick Eight Rule Changes, Payouts and Entry Fees.

RULE CHANGE

AFter a lot of phone calls and some research the tech committee of one has decided that so many quick eight racers have Lenco-glides and Bruno transmissions that the the rules will be changed to allow both open wheel cars and door cars to use those transmissions but having a CONVERTER remains mandatory!!!

PAYOUT

A couple of new contingency sponsors have come on board for the race. Jegs Performance has put up $200 bucks for the fastest doorslammer in qualifying and the fastest open wheel car in qualifying. A Jegs Sticker is mandatory MSD had posted $250 for the winner and $150 for the runner-up. Also Torco fuels will give away a couple of barrels of fuel. Like last year the winner will get a barrel of fuel (gas or alcohol) and the first alternate will get a barrel of fuel (gas or alcohol)

ENTRY FEE

The Entry Fee for the race will be $100 for car driver and four crew. What a deal.
