Check Out That Chassis

I have a 3000#,
10.30 ET, race chassis, BBC/PG door car used for
both bracket and IHRA Hot Rod racing. 60' times
are in the 1.42-1.44 range. The rod ends on the
ladder bars are due for replacement, would like
advice on which configuration to use. They currently
have a 3 piece on the front, solid on the both
of the rears. I have considered using the 3 piece
on both the front and rears, but I really don't
know if that is necessary or beneficial. I would
appreciate any advice you could give me.
Thanks for your time,

Ron,
Thanks for reading our column and submitting a question.
Because there is no movement of the brackets on the rear of
the ladder bars, there would be no benefit to replacing your
solids with 3-piece rod ends. Stay with the same configuration;
3-piece in front, solids in the rear, and just replace them
with new pieces. Hope that helps. Good luck! Jim.
