Funny Car Chaos welcomes Roland Leong to Mo-Kan Dragway

The 2018 edition of the four-event Funny Car Chaos tour will kick off April 27-28 at historic Mo-Kan Dragway located just outside Joplin, Missouri.

 

This eight-car open field of rules-free Funny Car competition will welcome special guest Roland “The Hawaiian” Leong to the facility, courtesy of Red Line Shirt Club.   [04/12/18]

If you like no time racing, grudge racing and small tire cars, the place to be this weekend is at Darlington Dragway on April 12-14 for Wooostock.

 

The event is being put on by Carolina N/T Small Tire Racing Productions and radial tire racer Keith Berry. Classes include Radial v. World, 29/315, 28/275, Small Block Boost, Small Block Nitrous and Carolina 28/275.  [04/12/18]

Summit signs on with MWPMS

The Frankenstein Engine Dynamics Mid-West Pro Mod Series (MWPMS) is proud to welcome Summit Racing Equipment as its official speed shop and parts supplier. Additionally, Summit Racing has been named the title sponsor for the MWPMS event Sept. 7-8, at Trumbull, TX.

 

In addition to the flagship store and mail-order headquarters in Tallmadge, OH, Summit Racing operates retail outlets in Sparks, NV, McDonough, GA, and Arlington, TX. Summit Racing Motorsports and Events Manager Jim Greenleaf said that a visit to the Arlington store this spring led to him attending the MWPMS season opener at the Texas Motorplex.

 

“With the opening of the new store in Arlington, Summit Racing is obviously expanding their brand in the Midwest area and for Jim and everyone at Summit to recognize the value of supporting the Mid-West Pro Mod Series, from the drag radial classes and all the way to Pro Mod, well, I couldn’t be happier or more excited,” said Keith Haney, owner and promoter of the Tulsa-based MWPMS organization.

 

The Frankenstein Engine Dynamics Mid-West Pro Mod Series returns to action next weekend (Apr. 20-22), as part of the Outlaw Street Car Reunion at Beech Bend Raceway Park in southern Kentucky.   [04/12/18]

Air-Oil Separator Kits from Moroso

The Moroso  Air/Oil Separator plumbs inline of the PCV system and captures the excess crankcase vapors, residual oil and moisture. Made from billet aluminum bodies with internal baffling and mesh media. Includes heavy duty brass inlet and outlet fittings, Fuel/Emission/PCV Vapor hose for plumbing inline, stainless steel mounting bracket and billet aluminum mounting clamp for the body of the separator.
