Nineteen
year-old Sarah Cotham will make her debut in the
Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series in 2004. Cotham who
resides in Artesia, NM, will be behind the wheel
of a new Worthy-built Super Comp dragster that
will be campaigned in Division 4 events as well
as a handful of NHRA national events. The car
will be powered by a brand new 434 cubic inch
engine built by Tracy Dennis at Sunset Racecraft
in Lubbock, TX. The car sports a new black with
purple tribal flames paint scheme created by ProMotion
Motorsports Design. [1-14-2004]
LEE TO DRIVE WORSHAM & FINK'S
THIRD CAR?
The
Agent hears word in the pits that there will
be a third Funny Car back on track for Worsham
& Fink Racing at the season opening Winternationals.
The car is sitting in the team's SoCal shop
ready and waiting as it last ran in Pomona.
Chances are good that NHRA World Finals runner-up
Cory Lee will be in the seat, but as soon as
the ink is dry on the contract we'll hear who
the new sponsor is... it won't be Artisan Entertainment.
