ANOTHER DRAG RACING MUSEUM

The Agent saw a small item in the Fort Worth Star Telegram (or maybe it was the Dallas Morning News) that noted one of the cities had earmarked some funding for a motorsports museum that would include a lot of famous Texas drag cars and memorabilia. [3-9-2004]

BRENNAN TO HEAD NDRA

Michael Brennan has been named Race Director of the NOPI Drag Racing Association. Brennan brings a variety of experiences to the sport compact scene. He has been a professional racer and an engineer on title-winning teams, as well as a television producer.

"As someone who has been in every position on a race team, Michael Brennan is fully aware of the needs of a team and its sponsors," said Michael Meyers, NDRA President.

The 11-event 2004 NOPI Racing Series Xbox Cup Championship will kick off April 24-25 at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, VA. [3-9-2004]
