ON
THE INSTALLMENT PLAN
Having lost his appeal to an NHRA board (what
a surprise) of a $5,000 fine over an incident
he was involved in earlier this season at Gainesville,
driver Cory Lee has started paying off his
fine to NHRA which allows him to drive for
Dale Creasy at the U.S. Nationals. (DRO file

EPPING ‘06?
The Agent put up a little note about the Epping,
NH track going NHRA and, while NHRA was interested,
that scenario wasn’t going to happen
because of restricted pit space, seating, facilities,
etc. The Agent got a call from one of his East
Coast operatives who says the Epping management
is clearing land to provide for future parking
and making other improvements. The source also
says that the track’s contract with IHRA/Clear
Channel and title rights sponsor Amalie is
over after the 2005 season. Maybe Epping and
NHRA in 2006. [8-19-2004]
