settle the PSTA lawsuit

now you've probably all heard the rumor that
the National Hot Rod Association is going
to settle the rag-tag, three-year-old Arizona
civil lawsuit against them by giving up some
of their most prized possessions: Indianapolis
Raceway Park and millions of dollars. That
would be as foolish as if Jay Leno quit The
Tonight Show tomorrow instead of in five
years. Based upon available Maricopa County
Arizona Court documents, one of Agent 1320's
operatives with some legal background submitted

COVELL SUPERCHARGED WARRIOR CHAMP
Dave Covell of Ashtabula Ohio has been crowned
Champion for the 2004 Supercharged Warriors
Racing Series. Covell in his 1923 altered,
Ratified T, had an impressive run, making it
to seven final round appearances in the Warriors
14-race schedule and also qualifying in the
top spot four times. Dave's crew consists of
wife Stephanie, Gary Naskali, Steve and Lori
Lindsay, and Mark Naskali. Dave's sponsors
include Burt Brown Racing Transmissions, WS
Racing Fiberglass, Enderle, Kuhl Superchargers,
DJ Safety, Manley, AGS, SCE Gaskets, Titan

BAZEMORE IS A FINK
Whit Bazemore will be at the helm of the Rat
Fink Dodge Stratus Funny Car at Joliet this
weekend. Matco Tools is teaming up with the
estate of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth to
bring out die-casts featuring the famous Rat
Fink character created by Roth in the early
1960s.
The die-casts have been produced by Racing
Champions and are available through local Matco
